Approach

As a relational therapist working primarily from a psychodynamic perspective, my ultimate goal is to offer therapy to my clients which feels natural, self-directed, supportive, challenging, and fulfilling. I believe that therapy, at its core, is about feeling accepted and understood, and I strive to offer my clients this acceptance and understanding.

I pride myself on being a relatable, personable, non-judgmental therapist, offering culturally-competent therapy which is respectful of race, class, gender, preference, and culture. I deeply respect the journeys of my clients, and I celebrate the processes they undertake. I am comfortable working with all ages.

I support my clients around challenges with depression, anxiety, mood disorders, addiction, isolation, self-esteem, shame, stage of life challenges, infidelity and sex, OCD, phobias, social anxiety, and communication issues.

I am also comfortable and experienced with Cognitive Behavioral, Narrative, Existential, Mindfulness, and Solution-Focused approaches, depending on the specific needs of my clients.
